We care about how frustrating this is for you, but I think most of us just don't know the answer to that question. If you doubt what your doctor is telling you, I could only suggest getting a second opinion from a qualified physician who has access to all the details of your case.

Eyecandy.
I had a biopsy a couple of months after 36 Radiotherapy sessions, which was ok. Ive had an MRI SCAN followed by 3 ultra scans in the last eighteen months. Now the ultra scans have always shown up some small lumps or nodes (as they are referred to) which apparently do nothing and are sometimes visual in non-cancer patients. Together with the usual checks, my consultant is happy that nothing sinister is going on, so nodes or no nodes.....i'm clear of anything cancerous. It's true that scar tissue could be an issue, but treatment and /or surgery needs time to heal so be patient and try not to worry.

another doctor is unsure.. we left there feeling no better then we were a few months ago

They want to take out the lymnodes.. I HATE CANCER!! I pray and pray for some good news and I dont..

My boyfriend Doug finished treatment in July and when they did a biopsy in Sept., it still showed irregular cells which the doctor said was not unusual after such intensive treatment and when he went and had another in October, he was totally normal. Sometimes it just takes some time....
