Do any of you belong to support groups? and if so did they help you after your surgery?

I do not belong to any support groups as my son and daughter are both Doctors and give me lots of support. However, i have spoken to other recovering cancer patients and hear only good with regards to support groups. I would imagine it would be good for you and your mother to talk to other families experiencing the promblems you have. Even if your dad is not keen, it will be good for you!!!

Oh no my Dad isnt being stubborn about it I just didnt know if doing a one on one with a therapist or in a group was better.. I guess its all depends on the person
