Hi All, I can't believe it, but I only have 4 more rt's to go. Although I've tried to keep a positive additide through it all, it hasn't been easy. I just can't believe it's almost over with. I know one thing though, this site and all you wonderful people have really helped me through this.

Right now I'm pretty tired all of the time, my neck looks and feels like it's been scorched by a fire, and I haven't had a real bite of food in quite a long time. My hair is falling out around the base of my neck and all in all I feel like crap!

Yet, I'm so excited!

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and although I'll probably still rant and rave to you all about how long the recovery process seems to be going, I just want to say thanks for all of your help, support and humor!

Best to all, Cricket

Cricket,
you've definately come into this with your eyes open and to have that going for you is going to do your morale no end of good with the recovery process!
Don't be dissapointed if it's a slow journey back to good health. But be aware that you WILL get there.
Good luck with the last few!
Michelle

Not had mch of a chance to go on-line recently but that is great news Cricket - well done. On the day of my lst treatment I danced to the car the car that collected me!

As Chelle says - recovery is slow. I saw my consultant Friday and was worried that I don't seem to be recovering as I was expecting - but he looked down my throat - confirmed it was swollen but wasn't worried! This morning I have eaten 4 teaspoons of yogurt and cried my way through it - but I have to eat so the muscles start working and recovering.

Chelle - please reassure me - I will get there?

Love Chloex
