Hello Babatiwari

There are a number of causes of limited mouth opening. As you will see there are several posssible causes for long standing limited mouth opening ranging from a Temporomandibular Joint Disorder to Scleroderma. A proper diagnosis needs to be made before the appropriate treatment can be offered.

A common cause of limited mouth opening in India is Oral Submucous Fibrosis. It is a peril of chewing paan masala.

I hope the above information helps you seek a diagnosis for your problem and the appropriate treatment.

Best wishes
Vinod :coffee:
