Hi Shelia, I know how you feel about waiting for biopsy etc. However these things do take time and it can be frustrating. If you read my story you will find that I had a wait from starting with symtoms before I actually got to the right department, but then they moved very fast. You will see from my diary when I went for tests etc and when I got results. I am sure they are moving as fast as possible. I think everyone will tell you that once things start to move the NHS do so very quickly.
Hope all goes well, keep us informed.
Best wishes Maurice

Sheila, Honey don't get too upset about the wait, because once it gets started everything is flying so fast you cannot keep up..I had my byospy in january and had my sugery in feb. A lot has to do with clearance with the insurance company, this takes some time,,trust me...I will pray that all goes well, I too had cancer of the jaw bone, lower right hand side..If there is anything I can do to be of help please let me know...God Bless You And Yours, Always Vicki Lynn

HI Sheia, Well my experinece it is getting diagnose PROPERLY in the first place.
Went months with visits to different GPs in my surgery and a biopsy in my local hospital ( the Whittngton London KEEP CLEAR)who said I did not have Cancer so went on holiday to "celebrate" to find my self in a few days with massive lumps on my neck as well as the pain from the orignal problem in my Mouth.
All I can say is once you get the right diagnosis you are treated VERY well and with speed
I have only praise for my Max Fax team at UCH London
I do hope you get things sorted soon

Paul
