Dodgey hair!

So this week i did it!
I actualy decided to get my hair cut and try and work with what i've got left!
It might sound vain and trivial in the grand scheme of things. But loosing my hair was a HUGE deal! Loosing my hair was what made me look like a cancer patient!
I lost it all from the ears down, and the rest thinned all over, giving me a mooney forhead! And as it started to grow back it stuck out in random directions, looked as though i had an under cut, & basicaly looked a state!
My new hair is now about 4 inches long. But made the rest look like rats tails. So i had it cut so the old hair is the same length as the hair at the nape of my neck. My hair dresser straightened it to. & i now have a sleek bob. NOTHING like my long dark curls i had before. But it ill get there. & it's better than the straggly mess.
So my advice to any girlies that may go through the same thing would be to just do it. I feel more confident and look less like a mad scientist with crazy bit sticking out the side! Big Grin
Will work on getting some pictures done and show you the new look!
Take care guys!

Michelle

Michelle, my dear bell ( blame that on the beatles!),
Did the Chemo do this? I am curious as everyone I have met seems to have faced the same problem- hair falling off and then regrowing. I dont know why ( but then I am a weirdo!!) but I did not loose a strnad of hair and it still continues to grow in all its glory.
However coming back to you - I have always had this thing for women without hair and so imagine you must be looking fabulous. Do keep posting the growth progress and am sure it will be back thicker and curlier.
So my sweetheart - till later take and lots of love,
Ananth

Suzie Smiler, my darling,
What makes you think we men are not capable of giving suggestions regarding how to go about getting rid of unwanted hair. Men these days are as concsious of their looks and hair as they come and though most will not admit it - I think they know more then you think. I am very particular about my creams for the body, my face, my lips, my feet and my Lines ( just kidding about that part!!). I tried using a chocolate body cream called "Wickedly Hotchocolate" and had to stop using it as everyone who passed me would take lick of me!!Smiler
You and all my lovely ladies should try it as it does elevate ones moods.

Private topic if you like!!!! Smiler.
Lots and lots of love,
Ananth

Michelle
Are you aiming to go back to the look in your photo, or stick with the new look?

Ananth
R/T got rid of some of my hair for a while, I think it all depends on the direction of the beams & intensity/duration of the course. I suspect a hefty course of chemo may have more severe effects?

Hi Michelle
I've been out of the loop for a few days and have just read about your hair. I think that's great! A whole new start. Like you said, it's nothing like you had before but it puts you in control when you decide to do something like that and a big step for a girl who is very particular about her looks. Good for you, I say!
Cheers
Deborah

Hey 200,
I can't wait to get my long hair back!
This is just for now, so it can all catch up.

Suzie,
I epilate. During Chemo Amir LOVED the brazilian i ended up with. I had no armpit hair at all! & a Brazilian down below. But my leg hair carried on growing. Bizarre! Well done for getting on that college course!

Thanks Debs! It's definately an improvement.

& Ananth...
Chemo thinned it all over & then R/T was the reason i lost it all from the ears down.
I was never bald though, well... not on my head Wink

Dear Susie,
You wont need one tall, tanned, dark eyed sensual guy once you have used the cream. You will have a whole lot of them following you - like the pied piper and the mice!!
However, if you have not tried it -do. I am not kidding and the name of the lotion is as I mentioned - "wickedly hotchocolate". You will be surprised. Its really freaky when you have it on and people look at you wondering where you are hiding all that chocolate!!Smiler. Its fun.
Lots and lots of love.
Ananth
