Hi everyone, I guess the observant ones amid all of you must have noticed I do not joke like I used to do so earlier. It seems I get tired very fast and if I do go out for some time I am out for the count the next day(not that I mind sleeping all day - as lovely memories keep coming back and I keep the nightmares away!! I will keep posting for a long time to come as I have decided to live as long as I can and as I have not been to the doctor for any kind of check up, I really do not know whats happening withen my body. When my bosses and secretary at Mercedes Benz heard about the reocurance - they were totally in shock and are all taking turn in coming to Delhi to meet me. Its a nice thing and feeling that I made it to the top and am still remembered. I have even received letters from the MD and CEO of Daimler Chrysler in Strugart - the ultimate big boss ( its going to take some time to achieve the record I have set of selling tha maximum number of cars in one calender year and sustaining it for three years in a row - giving me the honor of being the Best Manager Worldwide - chosen on the basis of an inhouse poll) Even the MD and the VPs are making it a point to come to Delhi to meet up with me. I am wondering what to do with my Hayabusa as its too powerful for my son - though he is very confident he can control the bike. I have seen him ride and from what I have seen it will be the end of him or some bystanders ot the bike itself!!.The Honda 250 cc suddenly has become like a scootie for him, though I disagree as its fast enough for him. Well my dear amigos and amigas, will end here but not before giving each one of you tons of love and a kiss each and accompanied with a big bear hug. Hagg - you too seem to be a bike freak but do you get to ride the bikes any more? And Lorraine - you are getting Hagg all embarasaed by asking him to show you his tatoos. Even I do not know where they are - he has never told any of us - but am sure if he does have he is not going to tell us. I was telling Steven who was with the Marines to go and get a tatoo - something to the tune of DEATH BEFORE (DIS)HORNOUR, STEVENS STEELS. Lets see if he does go and get one done. Hopefully even I should get one put- what say?? Michelle - any comments - Tracey? Deborah? Rob ? Steven? Dave & Susan and everyone else without who this site would not move. Well more later and once again tons of love to each one of you and a peck on the cheek for the British (Maichelle- please note Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Ananth my friend I sense you are having a low day. Get a grip because those of us who are not as strong have come to rely and look forward to your posts, even if we don't reply as often as we should. You've got a lot of cricket to watch yet and anyway, we need you. Love and regards James.

Hi Ananth, you do seem down but I'm sure it will pass. You are very strong and nothing seems to keep you down for long. I ride every day, it's one of the things that make me really feel alive. No tattoos in iffy places 13 years and still kicking it. Never give up your fight.

Ananth, i like the tattoo idea, i've got onemyself. I have a phoenix on the base of my spine just above my bottom . It's black & about 5" long from the tip of its beak to the end of its tail. I'll have to get Amir to take a pic. It's quite apt & symbollic, a phoenix rises from the flames representing coming back from the debths whch i guess i've done! As for how you're feeling Ananth, i guess it's to be expected. Your body forcing you to rest while it battles with the foreign body growing inside you. Keep your head strong even if your body isn't! & i'm sure you will! *hugz Michelle -~*Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds*~- ...Albert Einstein

My Dear Ananth i have been quite unable to contribute much to this forum lately as i am so completely eaten up with the sheer enormity of losing Robin. Everytime i see a new member posting with all their hopes and fears i just cannot find anything to say that doesnt get coloured by my own experience with this stinking monster of a disease, and every time i read about people doing well i just think why them and not us. I read every post you write and want to let you know how very much i admire the decision you have chosen, knowing Robin would have done the same given half the chance, but you have time he never had,and Ananth you make the most of every moment of it. You have cricket matches to watch, places to go, people to see,the speed of the bike, the freedom of the wind in your hair, and the love of all your friends and admirers on this forum. The future will be what it will be,try not to dwell on it too much sweetheart ,live for today every day and enjoy them all.Now is the time to lay down the memories you will leave for those who love you, including all of us. god bless you Ananth much love lizThis message has been edited. A big hug to all, I guess its just a part of things and times getting tired and sleeping it off is not a bad idea. As for being a bit morose yesterday, I decided I would like to ask all my English friends here a few questions. I would love to read your answers!!!!!!! Subject:THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE - MUST READ This is gooooood..... to the English teachers/students/friends out there - your commments : For those who speak English well, you will find it amusing. For those who dont, then this is an eye-opener. Can you read these right the first time? 1) The bandage was wound around the wound. 2) The farm was used to produce produce . 3) The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse. 4) We must polish the Polish furniture. 5) He could lead if he would get the lead out. 6) The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert. 7) Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present . 8) A bass was painted on the head of the bass drum. 9) When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes. 10) I did not object to the object. 11) The insurance was invalid for the invalid. 12) There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row . 13) They were too close to the door to close it. 14) The buck does funny things when the does are present. 15) A seamstress and a sewer fell down into a sewer line. 16) To help with planting, the farmer taught his sow to sow. 17) The wind was too strong to wind the sail. 18) Upon seeing the tear in the painting I shed a tear. 19) I had to subject the subject to a series of tests. 20) How can I intimate this to my most intimate friend? Let's face it - English is a crazy language. There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France. Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig. And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it? If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what langua ge do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell? How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which, an alarm goes off by going on. English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all. That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible. PS. - Why doesn't "Buick" rhyme with "quick" You lovers of the English language might enjoy this . . ............ ......There is a two-letter word that perhaps has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that is "UP." It's easy to understand UP , meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP? At a meeting, why does a topic come UP ? Why do we speak UP and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report ? We call UP our friends. And we use it to brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, we warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and some guys fix UP the old car. At other times the little word has real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses. To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special. And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP. We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP ! To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP , look the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4th of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions. If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP , you may wind UP with a hundred or more. When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it wets the earth and often messes things UP. When it doesn't rain for awhile, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it UP , for now my time is UP , so............ Time to shut UP.....! Work on it and let me know. Love you all - kisses and hugs for all the women and men get only a hug, AnanthThis message has been edited. Wow! Back to form with a bang. Well done mate. I'm still very concerned about you though. Nowhere did you mention the tattoo near Chelle's bottom! Are you sure you're OK? Love and regards James.

Dear Hagg and James, You all are the contributing factors to my feeling good. I am not really down and out for the count - just feel that I get tired a bit more then I used to earlier. I even tend to think twice about my regular workouts. You guys are not getting rid of me till you all are fed up with me. James - tell me more about Michelle's tattoo - its interesting and I am wondering what she had got tattoed!!!! Love to you guys and still no answers to all my questions on the English bit!!!!
