Just thought it might be useful for residents in the U.k. The Macmillan cancer support group has been most helpful. However I would like to say that in the hospital whilst under treatment I did not find them any use; I was directed to a branch via a close friend who had breast cancer. The worst thing is when you are on your own, you do not have the strength to go out and find things, and no one really helps you unless you are in the know; that is why I think it would be helpful to all those of us to have as much help as possibe at our fingertips. Comments please ???? | |||

Hi Garance The Maccmillan and other support groups are listed in the section on Support Groups on the Mouth Cancer Foundation Website. If anyone knows of any more support groups, please let me know.
