Scar tissue in mouth

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

On the side of my mouth where the R/T took place the skin on the inside cheek seems to be alot thicker, different texture and colour around about where the teeth are.

Recently I seem to catch the inside of my cheek with my teeth

I had a scan around 10 days ago on my neck (3 months post treatment), nothing was mentioned about the mouth so i hope it me being paranoid.

Thanks

tony

Hi Tony,
the same thing happened to me in the 6 months following RT. It was quite uncomfortable the way my teeth seemed to catch the inside of the cheek and make it worse. It semed to go slowly over a period of time until I just wasn't aware of it.
Hope this helps
cheers Tony K

Thanks Dave and Tony

I try not to look inside my mouth to often, and then when you do and see the mess your mind starts thinking... you know what I mean.

Regards

Hey Tony,
I too have it, on both sides. My teeth kinda leave an imprint in it & i keep getting blood blisters on it too!
You should be aware of any changes though & i think its good to question everything, cuz how would we know any different!?
Just another anomolie to put up with!
All the best,
Michelle
