I am putting down a link of the film being made by CNN. This short clip was released today to see the response. The full film with all actual surgeies - taken on the OT etc. have been incorporated. That would be about two hours and is being released end of July.

this is great..... however, it will be hard for some of us to watch.... but of course we will....

brings back the scary moments of being strapped into the mask and hearing the IMRT machine whirling around me with the click and clanks & then the buzz when the rads are turned loose.

the awkward moment of having the liquid you are drinking or eating by mouth pouring out of your nose like a funnel.....

the reality when the surgeon informs you the cancer is back.....

unfortunately, there are many of us who have experienced similar problems to which you have encountered. most of us are lucky that our problems were not as severe and as many as the ones you encountered and conquered.

and above all, we must remember that some of our new friends of the world on this journey to hell and back are no longer with us. they put up a good fight and won many battles, but eventually lost the war to this horrible disease.

maybe one of the reasons you are still kicking is you were chosen to publicize this form of cancer that few people even know about until there are afflicted by it personally or know someone who has been diagnosed. thanks a bunch for getting this publicity for us.

are you going to autograph the books for us? ROFL

I had difficulty viewing the links. The first two were perfect, the third was about someone with a weight loss problem and the last had something to do with a dog.

I tried pete's alternate URLs but they led me to the weight/dog vids again.

Pete - any other ideas? Sometimes the vids come through differently on each continent, although your's and mine should be the same. I'll mess around with it tomorrow and see if I can come up with a one-size-fits-all remedy.

the only thing i do is to click on the url's in my msg above. i don't copy them. i just click on them. after one is finished i click on the 2d one. for some reason if i try to copy the url in my msg and then try to bring it up, it doesn't work. some of the stuff gets left out. the only difference between the 2d url when it comes up it has an "a" in it.

you are right clip 3 is weight deal and clip 4 is for dogs. Ananths upcoming story promotion clips are 1 & 2.

Great clips and quite inspirational. It is good to see you out there living and talking, with your own particular take on life. I think people will find it helpful to see what someone can go through and still survive. Immortal indeed!

Dear Julia, Mimi, Gwyn, Paul & Bell.
I have purposely not mentioned because he also actually told me what I should do to make the link work faster. I want to thank you all for your wishes. As I mentioned this is a promo to the actual film where you all will have to bear up with me for about an hour and a half!! They released this promo to see to what extent they could take the film to - in terms of graphics. They have got all the tapes that are shot in the OT while a surgery is going on ( I guess to ensure one knows if the doctor is at fault or not!!) and some are pretty gruesome. The one that is to the extreme is when I had appendicites and they had to poke in six tubes into my stomach to drain out the bile and when that was not being too helpful, they decided to cut open. The rest I leave to your imagination.I have no idea is they will intergrate it or not as am sure there will be a lot of controvosy regarding the same and may result in a back lash against the channel.

However that is very secondry. I did not log in to see everyones reply but to see how Paul is doing. I do visit the forum daily and read all the posts that Bell puts down. If I am considered a fighter against odds what would one describe each one of you as? Some may have faught the devil easily and got away as the can cer was detected in time. Some lived a life which they never even dreamt of ever leading and some refuse to acccept the fact that one has the cancer and remain miserable all the time. Paul is one person who has accepted it and that is what makes him stand apart. If a story had to be filmed it should be his and Trevs.I somehow feel the pain I under went with the cancer body bashing - it was not as much which both of them had taken on. Trev, was a great guy and I am really sorry to have missed meeting him in Melbourne when I had the opportunity. Paul is a great guy and will become okay as he is also a fighter and will not let Cancer get its way. Bell understands him very well and am sure between both of them they will come out victorious. I honestly do pray for that.

My book too is ready for release and CNN is taking care of that too. I have no idea as to how I can get some copies and send them all the people who have been such good supports to the cause as it is dedicated to them. Its a coffee hardbound book , with a lot of photographs spanning from when I was very young till today. The writer is a very well known chap in India and in fact he carried on with the book when I had started it. I give him full credit to the wonderful job he has done. I will keep you all posted about the same as a well as the excat time they want to release the film on CNN worldwide at one time. I really feel strange to become the centre of attraction in the state I am in - though I am used to being in the limelight pre cancer. I too am not sure to what extent they should show all the graphic of all the surgeries and would love to hear your comments. The same will be passed on to CNN excatly as they are with no changes. Please do write in.
Bell, as I said I do visit the forum everday to check out more on Paul then anything else. Please do give him my warmest regards and a big bear hug. He is going to be fine. Bell, I also request you to update his well being on a daily basis as it would be a huge favor you would be doing as I want the CNN people as to what we all go through and not just one person.
