Just had a mass found behind my tongue and at the base between it and my throat with swelling of the left side of neck{large swellingm of lymph} diagnosis sq cell cancer.

trying to set up dr's etc. very frightening and scared at this time.

Scared? that is not surprising,we all were when the chap in the white coat said "you have cancer" only someone devoid of human feeling and emotion would not be scared and I,for one, have yet to meet that person.So don't be ashamed of feeling scared.
Your primary objective now must be to get this problem sorted out,don't let anything stand in your way.The two worst enemies are delay and refusal to face up to reality.
