I'm now almost 2 months post RT and finding i'm getting clumsier by the day. I seem to spend my life bumping into things and getting covered in busies.

Is this a result of the oramorph? or is it just me and old age

Ian i did - i wasn't spacialy aware of my tiny frame and i was forever bashing my hips and elbows. Ihad restless legs from the oramorph and continuously kicked out when i was asleep. & even now i'm notorious for getting bruises and cutting myself and banging my head and having stuff fall on me. In fact one guy in the mews i work asks me every day what new incidents i've had! ( i blame all of these things on the chemo brain of course, it's the perfect excuse Wink )

Ian, yes I know this feeling. I tried coming off Oramorph early, but had to resort back for the pain reason. I find my crossword ability has gone right down hill, won't even mention code breaker.

Are you managing to reduce the dosages yet.

Take care at this vulnerable time, and keep personal security in mind also, Nigel

Chelle,martin

Glad to know i'm not the only one. Good job my wife wont let me behinnd the wheel of a car, I would be a disaster waiting to happen.

At the moment i'm taking 4 x 10ml a day (so 80mg) my GP wants me to bring it down from there. I've got no feel for what others take how much or for how long so cant really gauge if he is right or not.

THe constant busising is a problem not painfull exactly but a bit of an irritant.

Ian, I only take 5ml at bedtime now but take votarol and co-codamol through the day. I was like a zombie through my treatment but that could have been due to the higher dose of oramorph.
