I managed to last untill the last day of my radiotherapy before the locked me up Mad . Whilst in hospital I managed to get ear and chest infections. In also found out that Oramorh does not agree with me as I started tripping and was quickly changed ontio a different drug.
Cheers Maurice

Welcome back Maurice...We have sure been missing, worrying and wondering about you. I thought something was wrong so I was praying day and night...Glad to hear that you are at home and somewhat better. Though just because they have dismissed you doesnt always mean that you FEEL better. How well we all know this...Let us hear more from you even if it is just a HELLO. Always Vicki

Hello Maurice

Good to see you here. Well that Oramorph is good stuff, pity it didn't like you as much as some of us liked it. Having trips on it does seem possible. I think most of us just went on a sleepy trip, but people can hallucinate on it. Everyone of us has reactions now and then to certain drugs maybe its because our bodies are at alow ebb and another time we could take the drug. After rads I was violently sick when I took clarithyromycin for pneumonia and felt so bad had to discontinue after 2 days and got taken into hospital for a week.

What alternative drug were you given. I'm keen to know what other highly effective pain killers you had.

The next month or so will still be rough, but you will turn a corner. Try and walk a bit every day and then a bit further to rebuild muscle lost when lain down.

Good luck. Pauline

Hi you old hippy. I bet you never thought you would be tripping on the NHS. The sixties never gave you that. Joking apart keep your spirits up and keep getting well. Things are on the up now. After all theres not much worse than living in Nelson is there! Take care Biker x
