Life...
I'm afraid to look ahead I don't know want to know what I will find But lately I've been thinking and a few things have come to mind Where will I be tomorrow when the sun begins to rise? Where will I be in 20 years when I look back and remember the time? Life is just a passing thing it was never meant to stay We were all put here together but could be taken back any day Friends come and go and relationships never last But these are the good old days the ones that will fill our past Don't let these days slip away you'll never get them back you were put here to live and you're never going to last So when it's all said and done and your time on earth is through Don't look back and have regrets Be happy with everything you do. "Live like there is no tomorrow, Dance like no one is watching, Love like u've never been hurt" "U don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" |

Hi Shelley
Thanks for the poem Now, I realise what all those poetry reading and appreciation lessons I had were in preparation for!: Shelley's poems! Great stuff, where do you get the poems from? Do you write your own, too? I tried once, (to impress a girl Best wishes Vinod :coffee: Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice. Hi Shelley - I've read thru' your poem several times, and as with most poems I think I can see a degree of agreement with the way I feel.
To me each day is unique. To-day's sunrise will never happen again, to-morrows sunrise may not happen. Every thing in our world is transient. All things are born (in one way or another), exist for a while, then pass into a different form. We, as humans, can only measure these changes by relating to what we regard as time. A Mayfly's initial existence can be measured in a day of our time. A human's presence of say 85 years is again measured in our perception of time. But what about rocks, mountains and such like. Their presence is measured in geological time which makes our brief appearance look really puny. I do take refuge in the fact that nothing on this planet can be totally destroyed. It can only change it's form. To be morbid even when a person body is cremated it's not destroyed. It's changed into 5 or 6 lbs of ash, plus gases released into the atmosphere. Right, I've rambled on enough I wait to be ridiculed, shown the errors in my thinking or whatever. |

Hi Pikeman, no reason whatsoever for anyone to ridicule you because the way you think says it all
"Live like there is no tomorrow, Dance like no one is watching, Love like u've never been hurt" "U don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" |
