Hi

I had an operation to remove the tumour from my tongue in October 2007. They didn't need to take away as much of my tongue as they thought they would. Did you have the whole of your tongue removed? You sound as if you are doing really well.

Best wishes
Gwyn

Hi mspdc,
I am with Hagg. Though I have not been through what you have I cannot eat or drink orally and have been on peg feed for almost eight years now. Surprisingly though (as everyone knows I am wierd!) I have not lost weight and in fact was told to mantain the weight and not go up any more!
You are doing well and your sprits seem to be soaring and thats really great to read.

Love,
Ananth

Hi Ananth

I am doing really well - went back to work this week part-time but I don't know how long for - I'll see if I still enjoy it as much as I used to. Its made me feel really tired but I'm sure that will improve. It was good to see everyone - when I walked in there was a bunch of flowers, two plants and a "welcome back" cake on my desk!

I have enjoyed reading about all your doings in India. Hope you are continuing to take good care of yourself.

Love
Gwyn

Dear Gwyn,
I am sure with time your stamina will be back to more or less normal and you wont have to strain too much at work and especially if you enjoy your work and have so many nice people around you. I am sure you must have felt special to enter the office and find the flowere, plants and the cake. Now its time to cut that cake and eat it too!!Smiler

India is turning out to be better with each day. Till a few months ago, I did not even want to stay here but just a few months have made such a difference - its amazing. One really has to see it to believe it. Huge malls - the one near my home - has shopping, an amusement park and a five star hotel (The Radisson) all under one roof and is still expanding! Though its walking distance from my place I do not go there too often as I just land up splurging on the most useless of stuff. My elder son literally has to hold me tight and take away my wallet on Sonyas instructions and they become even happier when I forget my wallet at home!!
Well - thats being "caprichoso" as I was known in Spain ( Capracious- in English - dont know if I got the right spelling).
Until later -with lots and lots of love, xxx and hugs,
Ananth
