Hello Cat Yes everyone does seem to be keeping quiet at the moment, dont know why. Paul has been on but just briefly and Vicky is conspicuous by her absence! Do hope all is well. I have just had a bit of a shock - got in from doing some shopping and my peg (feeding tube)fell on the floor!! Thankfully, I can now manage without it but didn't want to part with it so uncerimoniously - I got quite attached to that little thing! So am now walking about with a hole in my tum. I'm told it will heal up within a day or so. Must admit I am really looking forward to soaking in the bath for the first time in nine months!

How did you get on with the last biopsy Paul? As I've been in hospital maybe I have missed your update? Hope all is going well for you. Regards Brenda B x

Hello Cat, You were asking about Paul, well all being well I hope, he must have decided to go away on Nov 23d on holiday. Do you remember he posted his dlemma to us as it was going to clash with a hospital appt. and we all said to go for it as he deserved a break as he has had a lousy time recently.
Poor Brenda. But you took it very philosophically I must say! Never having had a peg. Yet. I imagine you must have had a shock. I am in a state of controlledf panic this week as I have an appt with oncologist in six days time. I have postponed twice because of going to Scotland but my family are having no mofre excuses.
I just knoiw that there has been a change in my condition when I compare in my diary what I was eating then and now. It as if I have developed an almost mental thing about these booster foods and they just make me throw up.
I dare3n't go on to the scales.
Ishbel that's enough. Don't spread your lack of backbone to the dolly girls...
Regards Ishbel

Cathy see I did see the Clinton Linbrary. It was plastered all over the papers here. It looks very interesting what I saw of it but the silly photographers were concentrating more on Chelsea and co. trying to look their glammest!
She came in briefly to the home of a friend of mine in Oxford who is married to a lecturer there. Nice unspoilt girl apparently, which must be very hard when you/ve played with Barbie in the White House!
Regards Ishbel. Must find the website for the library. Shouldn't be hard. Thanks for your boosting words! I need them. Don't we all.

Hi Cat,

Well, your note sure woke up everyone. The quick replies typifies the comeradie of this site.

I am quite new to this site but so pleased to have found it.

I am English but have a holiday home in CA. Before the visitation of this wretched desease in March 2004 I visited my CA home rotating a 5 month CA visit with a 6 weeks visit to the UK. All very enjoyable.

While in the US I travelled a lot in my RV across the states including Arkansas...I fondly remember the kindly people.

Having my treatment behind me I am hoping to visit CA on 22 December next for a period of 2 months. Two months only this trip as I have to be back for 'follow up' check on my condition from my specialist.

I cannot wait to return to CA as I love the place so much. Many regards, Fridge
