Well, I found a quotation which sums up my "philosophy" far more eloquently than I ever could:-
"Look to this day, for it is life Yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision But today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope" I think that's beautiful. I only wish I knew the source. I think  it's part of a translation of a Sanskrit poem.Does anybody know for sure? |

The poem is attributed to Kaildasa , India's greatest Sanskrit poet and dramatist. One source attributes the poem to his opus "Sakuntala" first translated by Sir William Jones in 1789. An unedited pdf of Shakuntala Recognized: A Sanskrit Play by Kalidasa, as translated by G. N. Reddy can be downloaded for free. The poem has also been been quoted by Katherine Tingley in Chapter 2 of her The Wine of Life (1925, Theosophical Society) and been the subject of an essay.
