had mri scan yesterday and meet with consultant and oncologist tomorrow to decide on treatment op is booked for the 3oth july but dont quite know what it will entail all i know is that i have a long journey ahead of me but i am going to be very positive and try not to get too down in the mouth so to speak, i can afford to loose quite a lot of weight so that aspect should not bother me too much .

I know that the waiting and news will have both been so very difficult,(a huge understatement I realise) but the good news is that the treatment begins so soon, so you can get through this journey more quickly.
I'm sure that everyone's positive thoughts will be winging there way to you throughout, mine included.

Hi Bev
I had my surgery on the 22nd of June and healed up very quickly, On the 17th of July I had a cat scan of my Kidneys as they are not toooo god. Today I had a PET/SCAN at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (Free Yah Hoo) and am seeing the Specialist on the 23rd of July, hopfully they will have found the culprit and that will help them with the doses as on the 31st of July I start Chemo in the morning and then R/T in the afternoon (35 episodes to come) I have been real positive with the whole thing and I find this a comfort, my lovely wife has knitted me a white wig out of Boa Wool which almost looks real if you shut your eyes a bit however it will be fun wearing it out when i am working (what a hoot) well these little thoughts are what keeps me positive and I would like to pass on some of my positive thoughts to you as well so hang in there girl.

Hi Bev
how did you get on with the consultant and the oncologist? I had my PET/Scan and now have to wait to see my Specialists.
Good luck with your results
