Hi All,
I am really doing great, hair came back, throat is 85% better, and only details are can't eat spicy food..(will that ever change?), all reports are positive, mouth still sore and teeth are sensitive. All the best from springtime in Switzerland.

Hello Chris

Good to know things are getting better. Springtime in Switzerland reminds me of the children and Capt singing Edelweiss in the Sound of Music Smiler.

Best wishes

Hi Chris, I never could eat spicey foods especially after the Cancer. Even chocolate burns but, I had a little at Easter.

SmilerHi Chris I have been thinking about you and what progress you are making; so pleased to hear that things are on the up.How are the taste buds ? Are you able to taste? Does chocolate hurt ? I used to love really spicey food, but still am on a bland diet. Beware of Fungal infections, be prepared.

Hi Garance, Cat, and Doc,
Taste buds are doing fine, I'd say 70%, orange juice is strange, swallowing is still a little strain, no problem with chocolate, sugar hurts the back teeth alittle, I have been brushing 5 times a day, all is ok, some jaw pain when I yawn, no problem with salt, have been brushing with baking soda for 8 months now. Mentally, a little dizzy and I have lapses in time, the days fly by. Returning to the hosital every 60 days for checks. Thanks for the contact! Chris Swiss www.special-classics.com

Hi Chris good to hear from you.

Be comforted the taste does get beter every day. I can now eat even more than 6 months ago. 30 months on the main problems are the old ones like crisp crunchy dry foods, but most foods are tasting 90% ok now and on occasion some even go down without fluid. I can eat chcocolate too which i nevr expected to eat again. Still don't like meat though. Having to watch my weight these days.

Good to hear you are eating better.
