Dear Diana, I am really happy that I was of some help to you and I am sure thats one thing -you can always count on me. I truly hate getting people all shaken and stirred (or is it not shaken but stirred??? I know there are various medicines for depression etc - however - I have always felt the best way to keep depression at bay was by looking at things in a different perspective. Cancer may have robbed me of a lot of things - but it has given me a lot too.It has taught me so many valuable lessons on life and how to live. I have always believed that Laughter is the best medicine and a positive outlook is just adding to the medication. All the medical jargon is something that even I have not understood till date but all I know is that I know how to live and live it to its fullest - kingsize (at times I step on the pedal to go into overdrive to Emperor size!!! So - just sit, think and start enjoying your life - it may be different - but then as they say variety is the spice of life!!!! Take care, lots of love, my special xxx and even more special Hugs, Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Hello everyone ( liz - take note Its been a good day today and so I decided to end the day or rather start the morning with a funny incident. A friend of mine sent me the following: I have often wondered how this trend got started?! I now have the answer. A man is at work one day, when he notices his co-worker is wearing an ear ring. This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow and is curious about his sudden change in 'fashion sense'. The man walks up to him and says, 'I didn't know you were into earrings.' 'Don't make such a big deal, it's only an ear ring', he replies sheepishly. His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say, 'So, how long have you been wearing one?' 'Ever since my wife found it in my car.' Now to continue on the same - I as some of you may know wear an earring on my left earlobe and have had it on for the last 15 odd years. The only time I would remove it when I was working for Mercedes but would put it right back on when my time was my own. I have a pretty decent collection of them and believe it or not - they are not earrings of any sets that belong to anyone - but ones which I got made and some that I bought in London at a jewellers selling mens earrings - just off Oxford Street. Well the story behing the earring is like this. I was working for a British Company by the name of Inchcape, based in Hong Kong. I was looking after the Indian operations as a senior manager. I had to travel to Hong Kong very often in connection with my job and on one particular trip, with a few of my collegues, I was invited to the MDs home for Dinner and everyone decided to go bar hopping after the dinner (including the big boss!!). I was never much of a drinker and I am really not sure what hit me but a little that I recall was the MD asking me - if there was one thing in Hong Kong that I wanted done - what would it be and I blurted out - get my ear pierced. Without much talk I was led down Temple Street to a jewellers and I did not even feel a thing and then got back to my hotel. On waking up the next morning with a huge hangover, I found I had a bit of pain in my left ear and went to the mirror to see and I jumped to see the earring. I was tempted to remove it but then decided to keep it on for some time. I called home in India and forwarned them about the new addition so they were prepared for it. The funniest was when I reached the office and my boss called me into his cabin to fill him up on all the details of my trip. He noticed that I would not look at him straight in his face but would be looking at the wall on my left and answering him. He asked me what was wrong with my neck and asked me look at him while talking. Having no options I did so and never expected the result I got. He just jumped and started laughing like a crazy man and asked me how I managed to get this done and I blamed it on the MD!!! Once over, it became a rage in the office - though the men were slightly hestitant to try one on the ladies found it pretty "sexy"!!! - and the earring has remained ever since. Now that I have no obligations to dress up with the corporate look - I wear my earrings everyday - alternating between studs and the round pirtae types. So thats how I got to start wearing my earring and not because my wife found one in the car!!!!!! Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Hi Liz, Did you ever mention or mail me once about not being able to open the attachments? You have to be a bigger nut then I!!!! Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Hi Liz, I have a spyware program on my computer that stops me from opening some attachments. To open them I have to turn it off for five or ten minutes. I another programe that still checks for viruses while this one is off so it is still safe. If you have something similar that could be the problem. It all depends on where the attachmnet has originated from. SusieR x

Hello my dear computer buffs, I dot know what version of windows you are using. I am using XP professional and purposely am not opting for Vista. On any mail I recieve, I get a potential warning as to I am recieving a mail from an unknown source, however would I like to proceed with opening it? Once I open it - all my attachments of the smileys etc. will come blocked as it will depend in which programme I want to open the mail on. There would be the various options and one has to click on HTML and it should open without too many problems. But again - I have no clue what is the version of windows you are using. Love you all, Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Vista premium. Its a pain in the arse!! Love liz Never take your eye off the ball it may just smack you in the mouth

Hi Liz and all others who read this post. Though I have a brand new package containing the Vista Premium (gifted to me- by a good friend in Microsoft), I was also kept informed on its performance. Not to run it down in any way - I suggest you switch back to XP proffesional or Home edition depending on the kind of work you are doing. Each have their opinion - so please dont imagine for one moment I am saying anything is wrong with vistas as each one choice differes. Cheers and lots and lots of love, Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.
