Hello everyone,
I really do not know how to put this across as I have never ever been to diplomatic in choosing my words. I have always been blunt and have got in a lot of problems because of the same. However, let me try and say what I want to as nicely as possible. I have decided to slowly taper off posting on the site unless there is some earth shattering news. Its got nothing to do with anyone or anything but there are a few things that do bother me and I just cannot bring myself to understand them. My outlook towards life has been an open book and I have enjoyed every moment of it and still continue to do so. I have tried to make everyone here smile not just with jokes but making an ass of myself too.

I am always scared that I may (as I do become at times)just become very rude and blunt and say something that may hurt some of you. I have been going through all the posts and though all are very nicely posted, I get a feeling at times that the posts have been put just for postings sake. I have also been guilty of the same and apologise for any lapses on my part.

I am not sure if what I have written makes sense - but I just feel its time I stopped wasting other peoples time with my inane posts.

I love you all and will always be around should you need me.

i don't think anyone posts for postings sake as you put it! i think we post to give advice and support.

Now have a good Easter and stop being silly! You're always saying you wont post here much and it never last! So just get on with being the same ol loveable Ananth that usualy only open his mouth to change foot!

I belong to the Oral Cancer Foundation as well as this one,and i have posted on over 800 occasions.The posts are mostly of a technical nature or for some reason(i can't think why lol)i get a lot of messages from women struggling with angry men,or people who have been given a terminal diagnosis.
This forum is different.It is small,it is personal,and we are family.It holds you close,cares,supports,laughs,cries,rejoices,celebrates, admonishes and most of all understands. We have one thing in common you can't find anywhere else.....the enemy.It has touched us all and we take comfort and find support from each other's experiences.
Who cares what we post.All i know is that every time we do, every one knows how things are going,wether its good or bad or just plain boring ...it doesn't matter.

We may not be the biggest,but we sure are the best,and i wouldn't change that for anything.

First of all, I'm glad you have posted. I was really worried about you but didn't know how to ask if you were o.k. I look everyday to see if you posted.
If it wasn't for your posts and messages I don't know how I would have "straightened" my thoughts and worries. You along with Cookey have given me the support to deal with my reality. Even the others who post keep me interested, my hopes up and a smile that is so much needed at this time. Many times just reading keeps my mind from going crazy. Please continue.

I am sure your posts, above all, coming straight from the heart of a "C" sufferer mean more to your fellow sufferers than you can imagine.

You have overcome the hardest of adversities over the years and still live your life with enthusiasm - you are an inspiration.

i haven't spoken to you on here ananth but have read your posts and found them both informative and amusing . i think your words have helped me cope at mo and i'm sure others joining will be glad to see such a friendly person on board .

besides have loads of questions for you .... is nirulas still open ???

Thanks for all the compliments and will be great if I have or could be help to you. I like or rather love living life rather then keep moaning and groaning about cancers. What had to happen has happened - so why not live what you have with all the joy and zest that life can offer.
Go ahead and ask me whatever you want, I'll gladly respond to all. Coming to Nirulas - they are one chain which have withstood the onslaught of the likes of McDonalds, KFC and the rest and still choc o block in all their outlets. I think we have more then 15 Nirulas outlets in Delhi alone and they have moved to many other parts of India. I'll never forget their chocolate Sundae (Oh!!! that chocolate sauce!!!!!!).

That must have been ages ago. You must be talking about the one in Connaught place. In fact, I think its the one that has closed down as the 99 year old lease had expired. But by then they had opened their outlets in all the posh colonys' of Delhi and other cities and have hotels too.
