Andy's last chemo tomorrow. We go early to see if it will happen. It is all up to the Doctors. Some people do not even have the last one they tell us. His mouth is really bad, he can not swallow at all. He also coughs up alot of blood and mucus. Can someone tell me that this is normal? I would love to know how long until he can swallow again. 2 more rads left. I can't believe 33 went by. We will know after the blood results tomorrow morning. I hope it will happen. Take care Jilly

Dear Jilly, Imagine Andy's last chemo must have ended even as i pen this down. I hope everything went of fine. I am sorry I cannot answer your questions but am sure there are many here who would have some advice. Do fill us in regarding Andy's blood report. love, Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal.

Hi there last day of rads equals first day of recovery, which will not happen overnight.A good rule of thumb,is one weeks recovery for every week of rads,so do not look for miracles too soon. The swallowing and mucous issues can actually get worse before they start to improve,so make sure that nutrition and hydration are high on your list of priorities, that and lots of rest should see an improvment soon. love liz Love liz Never take your eye off the ball it may just smack you in the mouth
