Jenni, It's no wonder really is it, we second guess, read more into every sentence, I even analyse the consultants facial expressions.

Thanks Angie, I'm going with him on Wednesday as the lump is now huge and you can visibly see it. I had been giving Robert zinc tablets as I've heard they are good for stimulating saliva production - maybe that's what's done it. I don't know. But then again it doesn't help that he keeps going to Scotland matches. It can't do his throat any good with all that shouting and singing. His voice sounds really gravelly today. What am I going to do with him?

Hi,
Just reading the posts and was grateful to find this one. I am going through something very similar. I just finished Radiation, chemo and all that jazz. Went in for check up and found a lump under what is left of my tongue from the 2nd return of cancer. I have had two reoccurences. I am lucky, I know. But anyways, they found a stitch in this lump and we are hoping it is just an infection. I try to remain strong, but it is soooo hard. I keep thinking I have been so lucky to have 19 years with no reoccurence, so now I am paying the price with 2 reoccurence within a year. Surely this is just an infection, I have to go at least 9 months with nothing. Hopefully, the next 20 years with nothing.
Thanks to all of you, though I don't write often, I read often. You guys help me keep my chin up, Ha, ha. I can barely lift my head up with all the scar tissue. By the way how many of you have heard of MayoFacial Massage. I am doing that now and have seen lots of improvement to my neck area.

Lots of love to all of you,

Leann

Leann,
Sorry to read this, i'm sure ifa stitch had been left in for so long it would be infected as your white blood cells would be trying to get rid of this foreign body.
I'll keep my fingures crossed for you!
Michelle
