Hi Russ, How are you? I would try cortizone 10 cream with Aloe.
It really helps. Do you get that in Darlington? Where is Darlington? Hope this works for you.

Hi Russ

I was told to use vitamin E oil, I noticed a big difference, it softens the scar and skin also it does not look as red. I was also told about Aloevera Gel, (must be pure aloevera) this can be used for burns also, such as radiotherapy burns.
Best of luck

Tracey

Hello Russ,

I have been trialing Dermatix for 2 months for the tissue viability nurse. Its a silicon based gel that reduces scar tissue. It really has flattened my scars, taken out their colour and reduced their itching (both neck section and forearm flap scars). You can get it on prescription in the U.K. Might be worth asking your GP about it.
