we have a 12 week old lhasa apso puppy a cute little devil but ruling the roost so to speak.house training is a nightmare but he is slowly getting the hang of it.his worst fault is constant nipping its murder trying to walk with a puppy hanging on to your toes or ankles and then he is nipping fingers,he has hardly any teeth and the vet said he is slow with his teeth.so you sit down and he starts to hump your leg!so we have called in reinforcements now.we have a dog trainer coming on sunday to train us she says.i am hoping we can cure some of his bad habits.you look at this cute bundle of fur and he looks so angelic but he is the devil incarnate lol.i will let you know how the training goes.my husband said he refuses to sit up and beg unless she is offering some thing nice lol. love to all have a good day shirl xxx

Shirl, I have quite a few Lhasa clients and even the boys are complete diva's! I have one thats a year now and he still does the puppy mouthing thing! I have to bribe him with treats while i trim his face and eyes cuz while he has them in his mouth he cant chew on me/my scissors/clippers/cord/brush etc. He is an absolute stunner!! Silver n white. There's another pretty girly who her mum swore she'd be an absolute devil with having her nails trimmed. But she made mum out to be a total fibber as she sat perfectly and held out each paw! They're a lovely breed but very willful. You needto be firm or he'll run the show! Good luck with the trainer! -~*Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds*~- ...Albert Einstein
