Hi All
Adrien Fournier's true life-story is dramatised in today's BBC Saturday play The Officers' Ward . (note: the play starts after the 3rd minute of the recording) quote:He lost his upper and lower jaw after a shell exploded on the Western Front during WW1. The story is about facial disfigurement and coping with the reality of this. He had to learn to eat and speak again with a prosthesis. You may find it inspiring to hear how he and his friends survived against the odds and coped with their situations. There are many parallels with the problems faced by some on the board. Best wishes Vinod Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice. "If you see what is small as it sees itself, and accept what is weak for what strength it has, and use what is dim for the light it gives, then all will go well. This is called Acting Naturally."
