we are going where, the promise land?
well i have some questions, if i may please,
for it would sure help to put my mind at ease.
do you promise me that this land is clean,
where all is nice, there is no mean.
do you promise this land to have no tears,
where all is calm no need for fear.
do you promise no sickness in old and young,
where the only sound is music sung.
do you promise that all will be new,
if indeed i take this walk with you.
these are some questions that most have asked,
as i have too now that i have passed.
why did you take me, i didn't want to go,
you didn't give me the chance to tell you no.
well here i am now, hey wait, there is no pain,
i can talk, i forgot, i am myself again.
it's me everyone it's me, i'm brand new,
wait you cant see me, but i can see you.
i will love you, i will miss you, til i see you once more,
for now it has to be this way, i was ragged and tore.
i could not go on, God knew and took my hand.
i fought him, i did, for i didn't understand.
but i made a promise, i will have to keep,
rest i will, for i have found some peace.
i will see you again, till then all my love,
for i am in heaven now, just look above.

Dear Vicki,
What an exquisite, haunting poem. Like Paul and I'm sure everybody, I had tears in my eyes when I read it and you seemed very close although so far away by jet plane.
I hope you are not going to leave us yet though. You are so strong, lovely girl. And you give so much. I must look out some of my favourite poems for you---not original I'm afraid. The originals were all written when I was about 15 and in love with pimply boys who inspired my passion. I didn't seem to inspire theirs. Probably I was too pimply too! I seem to rememjber smearing my face with Valderma ointment.

Oh no I am not going anywhere yet!!! Just some feelings and real thoughts I have had, wanted to share them. I am so sorry that I frightened anyone. But if I can't let it all out here, where can I. I have some dark moments to, not that many but I do have them.
