Hi I am new to this group. I had radiation to my throat in 1999 and more surgery in 2005. Now my esophogus is totally blocked and I am unable to even swallow my saliva which, unfortunately, is not normal - thick and stringy. I read a post on this list from 2006 from a Melanie who told of having her husband's radiation strictures stretched by a Dr. Sullivan at Wake Forest. I tried to contact Melanie but it bounced. Does anyone have info or experiences with having one's esophogus stretched? Thanks for any help you can provide, Kathy ksipher@mac.com | |||
