Hello everyone, it has been forever since I have posted. So first, to everyone in this group, my prayers are with you as you traverse the complex world of health care seeking help. If you have been diagnosed with cancer, please be strong and never give up. I posted some time ago about a lump in the roof of my mouth. The doctor thought it was a tori and to ignore it. Suddenly without warning, another lump appeared next to the other one, only this lump came with such pain it felt as though my mouth was being drilled into from my brain down. The entire roof of my mouth hurt so bad I could not eat and barely take a drink. My throat hurt incredibly. I had to take huge doses of pain killers just to sleep. This pain was relentless for 3 days. One morning I woke with white stuff all over my tongue, but it was loose, like it had fallen onto my tongue. It came off easily. The pain has now lessened, but this new lump is there....Does anyone have any ideas about this?? Thanks everyone...

Hi Java1 Thanks for your kind words. I'm extremely lucky to be edging closer every day to that magical 5 year mark! The best suggestion I can offer you is to go back to the doctor, or the dentist, to get a better idea of what's going on--especially if it's got a discharge and all that kind of fun stuff. Did it also bleed? Try to remember all the particulars (color, taste--if any--and that sort of thing) when you go to the doctor about this because that can really help rule out conditions. Please let us know how this turns out for you. Julia Howdilly doodilly, survivorinos!
