Hello Everyone
Greetings from uptown Congleton!!!
I was so excited when I opened my curtains this morning and the first thing I saw was a ......squirrel. Now, is that significant, or what?
I'm having a great time with Angie and have been blown away by the beauty of England. It's sooooo green! Such beautiful, old, old buildings. I may become an illegal immigrant!
I can't wait to meet up with as many of you as possible over the next couple of weeks. I have had a major hiccup with my computer and had to abandon it in Australia before I left so if i haven't responded to anyone's email (and I KNOW I haven't because I planned to do that on the way over), please forgive me and I can be contacted through Angie's line of communication.
It's great to be here.
Catch you soon
Cheers from Congleton (tee hee)
Deborah

Hi Deb,

Welcome to our green and pleasant land. I have just seen the news reports of the sand storms in Sydney - never seen anything like it!

Re Saturday and meet up - I realise that we will all be meeting at the bandstand and that there will be a group in TIFC tshirts and high heeled trainers (sadly not me included
;-{ -too late for Tee) But will the heels be high enough to enable us to find each other in a crowd of 500 plus. I will PM Angie and Kath with phone nos - just in case.

Looking forward to meeting you all
Cath

Yesterday my wife (Pat) and I had lunch with Angie, her husband Bill and Deborah who came all the way from Australia to present me with a pork pie. The company and lunch were most enjoyable.
Deborah I see that you would like to become an illegal immigrant;I am sure something can be worked out,it would of course require a constant supply of pork pies.

Keep Smiling

John
