Hi Mimi
I can't believe I haven't responded to this post of yours. Thank you so much, I really appreciate having access to that site.
I have finally made a decision about colour, style etc and placed my shirt order! If only I was some tiny little thing who didn't have to wonder whether or not anything was going to fit, maybe I wouldn't have procrastinated for so long. I'm hopeless.
I hope you're doing OK, Mimi. I see you on board often but you never post much these days. That must mean your life is on track. I certainly hope so.
Take care and thanks again.
Love
Deborah

Hi Charly
How nice to hear from you! When I saw you had put up a few posts I thought, at last!
Anything there is to know about my trip is on this thread. That's anything I know about my trip!! Angie has been my social secretary and is organising my UK life so if you speak to her, she will know where I am and when. I'd really love to catch up. Actually I want to catch up with everyone but the problem is, I don't know where each place is in relation to the next so maybe I'll be next door to someone and not know that I could have met up. That's disappointing so I hope those who would like to get together will contact Angie and maybe from there I'll be able to link up.
I can't believe that it's only 19 sleeps and I'll be on my way. I have been very busy (working a second job!) and on top of that, getting my fundraiser organised. It was held on Saturday night and was a HUGE success. A great night was had by all,no blood was shed (there were threats of violence as various people protected their chosen auction lots!) and best of all I was able to raise some extra $s for my cause. All great stuff.
Have you seen my blog Charly? It's londonorbust.wordpress.com Have a look if you can, there are a number of links and I think you'll find it interesting.
Well, I'd best away. It's not raining and so I have no excuse to not go for a walk this evening. Only 19 days to get fit. Ouch!
See you soon, I hope
Love
Deborah

Me again. Just some little snippets of nonsense (well, maybe).
I don't know if I have mentioned it before however I have been busily working out my schedule for my trip, extra work etc and working from a big calendar approx 12" square. When you open it out, one side has a picture and the dates are on the opposite page. Guess what I have 12"x12" picture of for September??? Go on, guess ....... Well, it's a gorgeous close up shot of a squirrel! How fitting.
Secondly ~ on Saturday night at my fundraiser I was spending most of my time in the kitchen and just mixing now and then with the gathered throng in the lounge room when I could. I had wished Peta had put some music on in the early stages and then I went in to say a few hellos a could just make out the background music. Guess what it was???? I know you can't ~ the song that was playing was the song I had played at Trevor's wake (not something anyone would hear too often). I felt so reassured, it was great. His wake was the last time we had a real houseful of people and in that very room. Just lovely. Awwww geeee.
Just wanted to share!
Cheers
Deborah

.......and again.
Tony and Kathy I don't think I've told you that I got my shirts. They seem to be faulty though ~ just a tad firm around the middle!!! Just my luck ..........
See you soon. Can't wait.

Arrggh ~ panic!
I haven't recieved anything. I hope I don't get there and find I'm not included!!! Please advise, Doc.
11 sleeps and I'm on my way. Angie maybe you need to do a recce and find the short cuts that will suit us best (provided of course, I'm actually going to be in the walk!). If they had the short cuts listed, they wouldn't be any quicker because EVERYONE would be on them.
Can't wait to see you all, even if it's from the sidelines. Tee hee
Love
Deborah

Guess the post will take a little longer to get to Aus, and dont think you can get out of it so easily. I am trying to get a wheelchair so we can have turns on pushing and being pushed.

My dog is enjoying the training. He used to be a labrador but now he is a corgi.

Clearly I'm training MUCH harder because my Bull Mastiff is now a PUG! Angie I can't carry the entire team, you know so best you get out there and try a bit harder!

Hagg I'm also very sad I won't get to meet you. Are you sure you aren't near somewhere I will be? I can't work it out with you because I only just know where England is! However I do have a very trusty (and busty!!!) social secretary who might know if we are going to be in the same neck of the woods at any given time.
Cheers ~ 10 sleeps!

I'm in Devon Deborah, down south. It's about 200 and something miles from London.
It's not the distance so much, I've been to Glastonbury festi, France and a couple bike rallies this summer and used nearly all my holiday time up Frowner.
