Hi Deb, just caught up and had a look at the photos now. I hadn't looked at the albums before, I should definately look around the forum more often.
I like the tattoo, a good tribute to your main man, bet it didn't hurt as much as you thought, did it?.
The bikes are cool. I like the Harley but there's way too many shiny bits on it for this country and it's weather, I hate polishing too so all that chrome brings me out in a rash Lol. The Yams a stunning bike for sure. I had a Fireblade and just being sat on it gave me the need to give it handfulls Big Grin. Hagg.

Hi All
What a week I've had! Thought I'd give you all an update (and hope you're interested).
I started back to work on Monday so it's been a week with a difference due to that alone. We close the branch for a half hour lunch and Trevor ALWAYS phoned during my break. That didn't happen. The silence was deafening and I was surprised at just how different it felt being at work and knowing that he wasn't at home. Clearly we all have a second track running through our brain that is at a subconscious level. Anyway there have been a lot of tears but hey! I made it through the week.
Much excitement to have the first of "Trevor's Bulbs" burst into bloom. I'll have to post a pic of that. To be sure, it's much prettier and sweeter smelling than any other jonquil I have ever seen or smelt. Good one, Trev.
Peta has set up a blog for me. Have a look at it (if you would like to, of course!) ~ londonorbust.wordpress.com
We are having a fundraiser at home here on 29th August (you're all invited!) and since I'm having offers of items for auction, will be incorporating an auction as well. Pictures and extra info will be added to the blog as it comes to hand if you want to follow it.
So much is happening. I don't know if the fact that I haven't sat still for three minutes has helped me to get on with things but I just feel as though I'm being swept along and that things are happening for a reason (what would that be??) Trevor would be right into it if he was here, so maybe he is here and I just can't see him. I can't believe it is 10 weeks today since he up and left me. He was such a nice bloke!
I am trying to contain my excitement about my 'crusade' for the walk and the prospect of meeting (I hope) a whole heap of you. Is it going to be possible to have a get together/catch up before or after the walk ~ or at sometime??? I really hope so.
There you have a rather scrambled note from me.
Love to you all
Deborah

Hi
Thanks Pete, glad you enjoyed 'catching up'.
I learnt another lesson today! I have posted a pic on the album and just thought that you would add to your existing album. Yes! you can do that however, it doesn't move your post to the top of the ladder, so no-one but me would be aware that I did it. Mmmmmmm. I wonder do we need to have heaps of posted pictures or would it be best for us to just add to the existing album? There are so many deep issues to be contemplated.
Only joking of course (although I do wonder ....)
I hope you and yours are well and happy, Pete
I'll catch you later
Cheers
Deborah

Hi Debs, everything is progressing well with regards to the walk, the only problem I have is the trainers with heels whilst they make my legs look fabulous and I get a lot of wolf whistles and horn peeping as cars are overtaking me, I cant help but feel the drivers look a little disappointed as they pass me. however, I have fallen off them twice now and have a rather sore ankle, any advice anyone?

I was wondering if anyone else would care to join us on the walk or meet up after..or we could meet up with you southern lot for Sunday lunch. I am hoping to get a good hotel rate if we book en masse, so anyone interested, please let me know

Drats Angie ~ now our team outfit won't be such a surprise!!!!
Hagg it'll be a bit more clear now why I'm having trouble getting motivated to train. Hell I laughed at your little emoticons! Beautiful.
Mimi ~ no doubt about you. You're the 'find anything about anything' guru!
Love it!

Calling all TIFC members (and other interested parties!)
I'm so excited, have just had a call from Aaron (eldest son) who has done some art work for a TIFC shirt. There is a link on my blog ~ londonorbust.wordpress.com
Each order will score a donation to the TIFC team coffers for the walk.
Cheers
Deborah

Hi Mimi
I look at that picture of Trevor ~ pre very first chemo, and just can't believe it's the same man who went and left me!
What colour do you think you'll choose? I like them all! My biggest concern is sizing. Just how big is really big in American sizes? I hope they can cover me!!!
Love
Deborah
