Hello Trev ,lovely to see your post ,sorry about ur upset tummy maybe you were just making up for lost portions .Glad you took your Diazepam no point feeling icky when you have a solution there that works .Pauls eye sight has deterioted also but got new glasses just a month agao and they have made a huge difference maybe worth a wee eye test and new specs .
Hope you get a few magic cans in soon Trev ,think we are needing to do the same . Love Bell |

Sorry to hear you have been ick Trev, but glad that the diazepam is helping and I hope that you still get to the zoo and find a can of that lovely dark liquid that I so enjoy - the cans aren't bad at all are they? A very clever invention. Must remember to buy some on our next supermarket run.
I think we will be glued to the Malaysian grand prix most of the weekend and I will try and force a bit of larger shandy down Chaz as that was our ritual Grand prix drink last year. Your post reminded me that years ago, I was advised by a nurse to drink lager for what she thought was a urinary tract infection - to flush it all out. Being quite a lush, I have frequently used it as a convenient excuse for drinking a beer or 2 over the years. Best wishes, Cath |

Hi! All,
Well had a rand day at the zoo with the family and what a day it was, took a lot of pictures which tomorrow I will post in the right spot. The day was a bit long for me and I found myself absolutely flat by the end of it. Deb carried Marley and sometimes Charlotte & at the samw time was pushing my wheelchair. The Zoo is all up and down and marround about so the poor o'l girl was totally knachered by the end of the day. My pain level was all over the place and I was a little glad to get home and both of us to relax, anyway I will get the pictures in the post tomorrow so till then toodle's, Love Trev |

Toodles indeedy Trev ,what are you two like ,instead of hearing about all the great animals and funny furries we are left with this image of Deborah pushing you in the wheely and carrying the wee ones no wonder you were both tuckered out, I am sorry, but it did make me laugh and I am looking forward to seeing the photos you clever man, I am still mastering the art of looking at them without my computer crashing.Made my morning of a finally peaceful hubby and no blasted elecricity or heat a restful day .( Growling out the window at our furries chomping all my plants, wish some one would come and put them in the zoo)
Look forward to tuning in for the next episode . Love Bell and Paul. |

Hi Bell
Does having a 'finally peaceful husband' mean that things are beginning to work for you or just that Paul has collapsed from battle fatigue? I hope it's the former. I'm picturing you and the bunnies ~ very funny (since they aren't in my yard!) That gun has been put safely into the hands of the owner, hasn't it? We don't see rabbits very much these days. About 10 years ago (I suppose, can't be sure AND it doesn't matter!) we had a virus released, accidentally it was said, to rid us of the rabbit plague and it has been very successful. It was called the Caleesi (? spelling) virus. Very effective. I had a chuckle as well when I read Trevor's post last night after he'd gone to bed. I thought I sounded like one of those trucks you read about crossing the desert in the middle east, or India maybe that have about 895 people and all of their possessions on board, trudging through the zoo! Mind you I feel and look as though that's what I was carrying yesterday. Ha ha. In actual fact, there were 7 adults (1 in a wheelchair), 1 toddler and a 9 week old baby. Between us, we all had a go at carrying or pushing different things at different times. It was a wonderful day with the kids, both big and small. The weather was just right, I think we've actually seen the last of the heat. Woo hoo. Our daylight saving ended overnight and I got up this morning to see it's been raining. Bring it on ........ Take care Love Deborah |

dear trev and debs
i love the zoo and last summer me and keith went to marwell zoo for the day,i was so worn out and that was only carting myself about carrying the grandchildren too would have finished me off so poor deb i can imagine how knackered you were.the house sounded lovely by the sea, that has always been a dream of mine to live right next to the beach.although the solent is only a 5 minute drive away from where we live.it is nice to see you both getting out and about and enjoying yourselves.take care love shirl xxx |

Hi Deborah ,glad you saw the funny side of my post when you read Trevor's I knew you were not there on your own but Trvor's take on it gave me the mental picture you so adequately put better in words .So pleased you had a good day out .
We are just treading water at minute and the sleep will do him good and see what happens next week think this was to get us through weekend but already it is breaking through so needed them out last night for a top up ,roll on Monday and a bed becomes available .The more he is out of it the weaker his legs becomes and then with not really eating is going to make it harder to get him back on his feet but they will know best . The Rabbits ,AGH !! all healthy and virus free here just need to relocate them elsewhere before they breed so will deal with that when things improve .Every morning the 4 baby ones look fatter and fatter growing quickly and steadily on our garden goodies .Seem to be getting braver also which may be their downfall ,don't even run away whe I charge out the back door now waving the mop, but look at me with ears up munching away contentedly and just hop under a bush . Hope there are some more exciting outings soon ,do love to hear all about them . Love Bell and Paul. |

Ha ha ha .....
I like to see a situation from the outside looking in and with that in mind I can well understand why those cheeky little bunnies munch away while you're brandishing the mop! They must go back to their burrow and say things like 'remember last week, the old boy was hanging out the upstairs window with the gun? Well you should see herself this morning!!! Out the door she flies, weilding this thing with a woolly end AND the language! You'd never believe it coming from a sweet old thing. They must be going through a tough time'. Tee hee. Life's way too short not to have a laugh, don't you think? I think our social calender needs a bit of a rest. It's been so full on over the last couple of weeks, I'm ready to curl up in a corner a have a breather! We had friends call in today which was great. They head north for the winter and so paid us a visit before they leave. They have offered us the use of their time share accommodation the week after Easter! They usually rent it out but it's been left empty for a few days this year. Our son will be home from Canberra for a week from Good Friday so we'll have to see how the break fits in with his plans and also how Trevor is holding up. So many opportunities coming our way. It's fantastic. I don't know if yesterday (and the couple of days away) have been too much for Trevor. He's not real flash. He's very unsteady on his feet and there seems to be some 'issues' with his digestion. He's nauseous and generally not feeling too tip top or chipper. We'll have to keep an eye on things and get to see the GP before the Easter break. Have you had a change in your time over there for the coming season? It seems to me that we are seeing posts in the evening (here) when we would not normally see them til our morning. I'm feeling jet lagged just trying to keep up! Great to share a laugh with you Bell. Love to you both Deborah |

Hey guys
we went onto british summer time last week debs which meant we put our clocks forward one hour.its 3.35pm here at the moment and a lovely spring afternoon. We took the girls to the zoo on josies 2nd birthday and guess what their favourites were?..kangaroos lol Bell sorry the success didn't last very long, but monday is nearly here pet so keep hanging in there.Mum was asking me just now what part of scotland you were from and i am ashamed to say i couldn't remember its so long ago when we first had that converstion. She is from Kilmarnock . Debbs the roller coaster carries on with its ups and downs doesn't it but the old coot doesn't look bad in the piccys if he could just crack a smile lol. Well i am up for rabbit pie bell if the gun comes out again ...delicious.if not you can borrow my jack russell ,she loves playing with rabbits!! Hope you all have a peaceful night love liz Love liz Never take your eye off the ball it may just smack you in the mouth |

OK. That explains why it feels as though you're catching up to us. I think you must be about 81/2 hours behind us now. It's 12.26am here. We turned our clocks back an hour overnight.
Liz I don't think I saw one regular kangaroo at the zoo. There were wallabies and potaroos and red kangaroos but not a good old grey. Only saw one koala and I think I was the only one among us who saw that! In spite of Trevor's bravado yesterday, I think he was doing it pretty tough. True to his form though, not a word of complaint. There were some nice smiley pics however there was so much to do getting those photos into the album, there's no way I would ask Peta to do any more than she did!! I'm very grateful. Dad took some lovely snaps down at the beach and I would love to post them, but I woulnd't know where to begin and I wouldn't put Peta through it again! I'm off to bed. Nighty night! Love Deborah |

Hello all ,so glad you had wee chortle but you are quite right bet thats what the little buggers are thinking ,tomorrow morning the mop will have an extra jab in bushes .Lizz tell your mum we stay in Turnberry a small village outside Girvan and 30 minutes from Ayr is about 45 minutes from Kilmarnock .
What lovely friends you have Deborah and a lovely gesture from them .Maybe time slots will fit in with your son and I do hope Trev's tummy settles down .I agree it would be a good idea to have it checked with GP ,would be a shame to spoil Easter if it is playing up and you can get something to calm it down before hand .He is such a trouper and never complains but it would be best to have something in the old cupboard just in case .You will be looking forward to your son arriving could he maybe go with you to the time share .Do hope you can take this opportunity up and after a few days rest maybe Trev will recharges the batteries and things settle . Our Eldest daughter came down today and I was delighted to see her, Paul managed a hello pet then slumbered back off so that was ok .Had a good old natter with her and was sorry to see her leave but willl need to see what next week brings .We are supposed to be going to her and her new husbands house with the rest of the family for Easter lunch and stay over to give me a wee rest, but not sure how that will pan out . As Liz said our clocks changed to spring time last week and the weather has been lovely even a little heat in the air with all the daffodils and crocuses out except our garden and I know you all know why so will not labour the point ,lol. Well going to poke at my sleeping beauty now and see if I can manage to get some food into him. Then I will see if I can navigate the photos without my old girl crashing . Love, Bell and Dozy . |
