What a complex world we share! I'm experiencing absolutely beautiful days, those that we usually have in late April. Next week we should have rain and we're all hoping for it. We want lots of it! If this good weather keeps up, fire season will be even worse than last year.

The middle part of the US is undergoing extreme freezes with deaths being reported. Southern Argentina as well as Southern Australia are experiencing record-breaking heat.

There's a volcano is Alaska that's expected to erupt very shortly and because of the heat that is being generated, the gigantic glacier in that area is melting rapidly.

So we've got global warming at the poles and a freeze in the UK, Europe and the midwest and east in North America....and it's springtime here and we don't want it now!

Saw some pix of the Australian Open - tennis is a sweaty business but the players were dripping wet. I get cranky as well as sweaty.

Stay cool, Trev.

Hi! All,
well today breaks another record with HIGH temperatures and there is one more day to go, the temps have been in the over 40s and the nights in the mid 30s. We were having the family to our place for a BBQ on Saturday and then because of it being 43 then we will have the party on Sunday where it is going to be 24c????? what madness from 11 days of over 38c and mainly over 40c down to 24c & the same till the next weekend when it starts to go up again.
Tomorrow I am of to see my GP and get some questions answered.
I have tried to keep up with the news from you guys and it is my most favoutite time of the day openning upi my Laptop and checking for posts. Our newest grandchild Charlotte has finally reached her bith weight and is looking georgeous (I mean she has always looked georgeous) and doesn't seem to be a problem with Marley, it is a great way to get you spirits lifted when you get to see your Grankids. Anyway just a bit of chat to keep in touch with you guys.
Love to all

Goodness this is nice looks as if some new celebrations are in the offing .Congratulations Trev and Debs on your anniversary 29years definately merits a party .Paul and I will be 34 years in May and to be honest it hardly seems real it is true what they say the older you get the years just whizz in .

Also the old saying here you know you are getting older when policemen look as if they should still be at school .I also remember when our dental practice was taken over and the new owner a lovely fellow I have to say and very up to speed with all the latest gizzmos promoting the latest in new denistry .

On checking my mouth he said my teeth were in good shape but really I could improve them by replacing my old and trusted HUGE black fillings with nice new white ones .I agreed to this and when all was done and I looked in mirror I said "My goodness theese old fillings were put in before you were born". He was quite amused .

To Cookey oh my... that is wonderful news a grandson on the way ,I do hope all this news about grandchildren catches on and sets a trend as we are hoping our daughter will take a broody turn soon .I really need to behave as every time she says her trousers feel tight and she is feeling as if she is putting on weight I always say Mmm anything you want to tell us and I get a row.

Ok, just having a wee rambley now .Well seeing as we are also in weather cast mode I can report our area of Scotland has missed the snow but have winter sun and freezing temperatures so we will be expecting another dire fuel bill.

Have a great party Trev and Debs congratulations .

Bell and Paul.

Trev and Deb,

Have been watching a lot of news about the fires - I hope you're well and that you don't have friends and relatives in the affected areas. I ache for your firefighters and other responders, the residents, pets and wildlife.

I understand there might have been an arsonist involved in one of them - that's a mindset I don't get. One of the SoCal fires last year was inadvertently set by a group of idiot frat boys who didn't douse an illegal fire that they'd set while camping. The group was identified and the state is billing them thirty-million dollars, which means that they'll probably be working under the table for the rest of their lives with nothing filed with the Internal Revenue Service. Bastards! (I know, I'm accusing them of something they haven't done yet, and they may all join monasteries and do good works but I kinda' doubt it.)

Here in NoCal a few years ago, a mother set fire to a mountain forest so that her unemployed son would be hired to help the regional fire departments. I hope she's still serving time.

I hope your air isn't polluted where you are and that the record heat begins to subside.

Love to both of you,

Mimi

Hi! All,
Gee it was great to get your blessings for our annivesary, it was a fabulous day with all the kids and the Grandchildren BOY what a day 17 of them turned up and the BBQ got started with the help of the eldest and the food came from everywhere, the kids where running wild in and about the back and front yard without really disterbing us(which was reeeeeel good),the new mums compared babies and the ooohs and aaahs filled the air, whilst the boys continued cooking and drinking(how strange it was as there where no alcoholic drinks brought to the party and the day went along just fine).
It was a truly lovelly day and I managed to last through the day without a problem HOWEVER by the time they had all left which was quite late I had reach my limit and was rather knackered and settling down in my chair was a delight.
Earlier that is the day before (Saturday) I had been to see my GP who said that my blood results where low but not enough to warrent more Whole Blood, the rest of the visit was taken up whit checking my prescriptions and filling out a doctors report for any other GP or Specialist I see if I can't make it to my own GP(Deb and I are going to try a few days away on the coast). All in all I am feeling quite good except for the occasional anziety attack and the odd feeling of being lost, My pain level is increasing and I find I am taking painkillers more often(Panadol Soluable), my nights are abit erratic and if it wasn't for the Temazapan & Mertaz I think I'd be a nutcase.
Anyway thats enough of my Waffling Love to you all, keep in touch Guy's as you are the ones that I thrive for

Trev,

I realized you had such a wonderful time despite the weather and your health. It gave me such a kick in my butt. I needed that. You are such an inspiration. Loving life can be hard at times and I realized that I should have nothing to complain about. Thank you.
