When I was telling our daughter about the Sign of the Squirrel she thought it was a real hoot and said she would pay for us both to get the tat providing she can watch! Does it hurt so much she is going to get some perverse kick out of it?
I/we have never contemplated anything like this but Peta has a tat herself, which she has never shown me (!) although Trevor went with her when she got it.

It's coming, Ananth. I sent off squirrel pics and a couple of photos of Trevor's r/t mask on Sunday so hopefully we'll have something soon. I guess we have to fit around the paid work!
Patience, my friend!
On the subject of 'where'. I think above the ankle on the inside is a good spot because it will be noticeable but discreet. What do you think?

OOO ERR Deborah,

It hurts!! anyone who say's it doesn't is telling porkys!! It's like a really sore burning sensation. If you've not had one before, you might like to reconsider going over the ankle. Going over a bony bit hurts worse!!
As it's coming up to your summer, you'll need to keep it out the sun for a while too, until it heals properly.

You know how I've got a fixation about a certain part of Trev's anatomy (I know he's going to think I'm messing about here) - well this is straight up, no kidding, honest - when you get the tatoo done, gently rub Preperation H on it a few times a day - honestly - it helps heal and takes away any swelling.

By the way, a supermodels tip is to put a small drop on bags under the eyes, gets rid of them no probs. Yes I've tried it, yes it works!!!

I use Prep H on all my tattoos, have done for ages but the gel is the way to go, the ointment is a bit greasy. Bony bits do hurt, when I had my hand done, going over the knuckles was bad and elbows aren't much better. Saying that though, ankle tattoos have got really popular in the last few years, especially with the ladies. They do say they have a higher threshold of pain.
