Hi there!, Yep had my scar rearranged on my neck. Had a Zplasty by local anasthetic. Took about 45 mins to do (felt longer)Haven't seen the results as covered by dressing. Not painful at all, but gone back to being a bit one dimensional with my neck! Stitches out on 11th June. Allowed to play golf next week, but not tennis boo! Any body watching Big Brother? I am afraid to say I got hooked last year when I was in hospital and couldn't resist a peak at this year's lot!

Hi Anne

I was also wondering how it went - sounds like so far so good.

Enjoy your golf (I haven't played since my op!) and Big Brother (as far as that's possible!)

Hi Anne!
I'm pleased it went well. Bet you can't wait to have a look.
I've been watching a bit of Big Brother. Can't believe it's all girls. Can you imagine the PMT?? Eeker

Hi,
had stitches out today. Scar is a long zig zag down down middle of neck.Looks angry at the moment, but I can feel the difference in the movement of my neck. The scar was so puckered and wide before that it was impossible to look up!
How annoying are all those women? Lost interest really, need real men!

Hi Anne

Good that you've got more mobility with your neck - should help with all that sport you do.

My scar is OK but I have got a large lump of scar tissue beside it, which radiotherapy made harder. Wonder if it is possible to have it removed?

Hi Anne can you tell me why you had the surgery?

I just posted a question on 'procedures' board. My Dad wants to know if there is any type of surgery to help take out the tightness in the neck. He just had the bilateral ND in mid March of this year; so I guess it's still fresh. The tightness and feeling of being choked is driving him crazy. Why did you have this surgery and how long did you have to wait to have it done? The more details you can provide, the better.

Thanks
LisaB
