Hello everybody, I am a college student and I am here for some help from you guys. I live with my grandfather who is a cancer patient and he wants to join a community where he can discuss about cancer. He wants to learn more and want to share his experience with others. Justin, if he's got 'Oral Cancer' you've found the right group for him. I searched the web for a great site and this is it. The community here is very supportive and you couldn't find a better group of people.

I'm afraid I can't help you with any other sites for other cancers, but you could try the american cancer society for information.

Cancer is a disease which needs to be tackled with understanding and comfort. It is a situation where your grandfather needs your warmth and that special touch to make him feel better as the medicines cannot work this way. My friend told me about a place where cancer patients can share about them, what they feel, their thoughts, their experience and their problems related to it. I think this will help your grandfather to be more relaxed and write and share the things he is concerned about.
