Hi all,
I normally try and avoid the question of the cancer having reoccured as I well know that it is going to kill me - but even so, I will not let the cancer make me morose or get me totally bedridden. I will get myself stuffed with morphine but wont give up life without enjoying the last breath.

My doctors - who I term as my angels have become more good friends rather then just doctors and patient. We share a great relationship and also try and keep stress out of our lives with sending jokes etc. to each other. We do meet once in a while. I know for certain that my oncologist is devasted with the news and though I should be the one who should be howling - its her everytime she sees a forward or a joke from me. Today she sent me a lovely piece and I thought of sharing it with all of you'll.

It goes like this:

"I asked God, 'How do I get the best out of life?'

God said, 'Face your past without regrets. Handle your present with confidence. And prepare for the future without fear!'"

"Without God, our week is: Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, Shatterday and Sinday. So, allow Him to be with you every day!"

"Life is short, so forgive quickly. Believe slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. Never regret anything that makes you happy. And have a wonderful journey!!!"
