Just read your postings and no it is not unbelievable its par for the course. You have done the right thing by protecting your husband when he is most vulnerable, a 100 mile round trip is unforgivable would any of the consultants, doctors or MP's put up with such treatment?

I hope you send copies of your email to your MP and to the press, in fact where are the MP’s do they know or even care.

It seem that a high percentage of us when being treated, end up in hopsital, before you start treatment you are not really told how bad it can get, sure there are some who have no side effects but how many 1 in 100.

I ended up in a cancer ward and it was a real eye opener, my wife ended up smuggling in my own Oramorp, if you needed pain relief between change over or late at night God help you.

There seemed to be two worlds the one that you entered as an out patient with kind and helpful staff and then the filthy cancer ward with their over worked nurses (Cookey comments are 100% spot on), under trained junior doctors some who cared and others who did not give a dam.

I got off lightly, a distant family member died of cancer yesterday in Leeds, what happened to him is truly unbelievable he fell thru the gaps in the system and paid the ultimate price.

Why can't "our" leaders match the standards of Holland or France? they are useless bastards.
