Hi Shirl,
I know it sounds strange to congratulate on getting a peg tube fitted in but yes - the n.g tube can be a pain. The peg will make a world of difference. Just as Trev says- you wont know yourself.
Love and lots of it.
Ananth

Hi Shirl,
You'll do great when they put in the peg, I hated having a ng. The peg makes you feel slightly more normal too cause no one can see it.
You might get a little bit of indegestion to start off with, your belly will need to get used to the different feeding regime. If it gets to bad, slow down the input slightly and also flush with more water than suggested. I found that sorted it out.
Good Luck

Hi Hagg,
Almost a another year making it number 8 with the peg! I have forgotten what it is to eat with my mouth and let alone eat not even water. Its become so much a part of my life that I decided not to let the doctors even attempt reconstruct a new air and food passage as there was no way I was going to spend even one more day in the hospital.I would not like to spend so much time in a bleak room for something so temperory.

Love you all,
Ananth
