Okay, gang, our fellow passenger, Sharifah continues this journey to fight the battle which we are all so personally familar with. She started her radiation and chemo on 10 October.

I do correspond with her occasionally on her blog and see that you do quite frequently. I forget the dates sometimes and am glad that you're reminding me. Sharifah - hang in there! Because I worked in your wonderful country I feel an attachment to you. I wish you well and know that you have a great family and support group to see you through this. Hello guys,
Thank you very much for your prayers and kind thoughts. As mentioned by Pete, I started my radiation and chemo on Oct 10. The rad has been ok so far. But the chemo, which is supposed to be administered once a week for probably five weeks was terrible. I was nauseated very badly for about 2 hours but it went away after that. On the whole, I still feel ok only a little weak. Anyway, I'll keep you all updated whenever I can. Hugs Sharifah "Life is short, but intend to grow old gracefully" |
