Hello PTBobcat A bit of perspective is needed here: If the ulcer has healed and is painless and not raised after two weeks, it is most probably just that. Large ulcers can heal with a slight scar that slowly disappears, so no point in panic over every ulcer or else our health systems will be gridlocked with patients with ulcers needing attention. But do see your doctor for an opinion if it doesn't heal, gets painful or bigger. Best wishes Vinod Disclaimer: Please see your own dentist/doctor for a proper diagnosis as my words should not, in any circumstances, be taken as dental/medical advice.
