Hey you!
Can't believe it's a year Dave!
In some respects it seems like yesterday, and then in others it seems like a life time ago!
I'm so proud to know you - you thought you were in for early retirement, that you'd never eat well again. But look at you now!!

Still think of you guys!
Michelle

Dearest Dave and Sue,
Dave - I am really happy for you and am sure you have overcome your war (not just the battles) and will continue as Hagg put it - with the success story.
With lots and lots of love and warm hugs,
Ananth

Dear David,I cant give any opinion on findings, But I do feel it would be very cruel of them to make you wait until
April 2nd if there was bad news. Personally,I, being an impatient sort, would be on the phone first thing Tuesday, asking why they wanted to see me & asking for an earlier appt.
Would April 2nd. have been your routine clinic appt. sent out automatically by any chance?
I sincerely hope all is well. Fran.

Hello David I agree with Fran , this may be your usual appointment time and they have rescheduled it. Sometimes this happens due to holiday periods and clinic changes.

But this waiting time is so awful, if you are concerned I would phone up and speak with whoever you normally deal with via his secretary and ask her for him/her to call you at home .

We are thinking of you as Paul underwent repair surgery in nasal area for RT damage and when Paul came up from Theatre ENT specialist said he had done a biopsy just to make sure because he was in there and everything look absolutley great and not to worry he did not expect any problems .But a week later he phoned us to apologise and said he was sorry and really surprised that the biopsy had come back with a recurrence .So try and take our story as a positive .If there are concerns I think they also may have phoned you and given you an explanation and an appointment. So try and stay calm and phone them .Otherwise you will just worry yourself into all sorts of sonarios which may not be the case .

Thinking about you both .
Bell and Paul.

Hi Dave,
As Fran said, i'm sure if they'd found something sinister they wouldn't keep you waiting to let you know. The doctors are usualy quite up front.
Ithink phoning tuesday is a good idea. You can't fret and worry til the 2nd!!!
I'm really hoping its a false alarm

Love Michelle

Hi Dave & Sue

Yes phone tuesday. Sometimes the Macmillan nurse can help as well if you are getting too worried over something. These waiting games are absolutely horrendous!!! One minute you are telling yourself your sure everything will be fine and then before you know it you start imagining all sorts. When my son started complaining of lower back pain they said they would need to do a bone scan. GULP! Then they said they would do the scan so that they would have the results at his next check!! Of course that mean't we had to wait six weeks before we knew if anything was going on. Thankfully it wasn't but as I say these waiting for results put so much stress onto everyone. Will keep you in my thoughts let us know how you get on. when we was waiting I would just say to myself each day, well, today I don't anything more than yesterday so today everything is ok and that's how I tried to get through just taking it one day at a time.
