Liz,
I looked at our BBC site listings and for whatever reason "Missing Live" is only shown on the UK site. Am sure that I'll eventually find it by some means, probably devious. In the meantime, I'm only slightly aware of the details of Paul's disappearance although I remember reading about it here and on the OCF board. Sometimes my own cancer worries get in the way of coherence. For those of us who aren't totally aware of this terrible story, could you please provide some links, both historical and recent, so that we can be up-to-date? I hope there can be some answers for you as a result of the show. We have "America's Most Wanted," that profiles difficult cases and thusfar hundreds of cases have been solved due to viewer input, viewers who were unknown to law enforcement during the crime investigations. Many of our criminals escape to the Caribbean or to Mexico or simply to other states - all of which televise the show. Smart viewers recognize the perps and make that fatal phone call, often with a reward involved. I hope your mystery can be solved and that all of you can be relieved in knowing the truth and can lay this to rest. A double tragedy for you, Liz. Heartbreaking. Please keep us advised. Mimi |

missing man
Link to news item. Following Robins death,Paul suffered from horrendous nightmares and depression,His wife ran out of patience with him and ended the marriage. This tipped him completely over the edge,as she had spread some very unpleasant rumours about her reasons for ending things which were total fabrication for the sole purpose of justifying her actions.Paul felt so betrayed as he saw friends from his childhood gossip and spread these terrible stories. He went to stay with his bosses son and just walked out of the house without money, passport ,phone or transport.Nothing has been heard of him since.I spent 4 hours with Paul 2 weeks before he went.He was broen and despairing and definately entertaining thoughts of suicide. He rang and text me when i came home saying he wished i lived closer as he would come and live with me.He has several step grandchildren. His wife has since chosen to pose as the grieving wife, and lately been giving interviews regarding her desperate financial state brought on by pauls actions and is appealing to have the 7 year missing law changed so she can get her hands on the house and money.I think this programme was instigated by his boss and i hope and pray she wasn't involved so this will be about paul and not her for a change. Oh Liz, I watched the video and wanted his wife to scream at the camera and say:
"LIZ NEEDS TO KNOW YOUR OK! DON'T DO THIS TO HER!" You are so wonderful with your thoughts and words. I pray that he is found. Big hug to you. Noemi |

Hi noemi
the programme yesterday morning was very upsetting. It showed several photographs of paul one of which i took myself, and i had forgotten how like robin he looked.Luckily i had my bereavment session last night, but i sure look a puffy eyed mess this morning.I watched this mornings programme and they have had 19 phone calls of possible sighting of Paul.so lets hope they bring some news.I have put a link to yesterdays programme. love liz Missing Live Love liz Never take your eye off the ball it may just smack you in the mouth |

Chin up, Liz. It's an awful situation for you but thankfully you have a great support network.
I was a bit frustrated yesterday when I couldn't view the first episode and then it was the same again tonight. Thinking of you from all the way down here Love Deborah |
