just quick note to tell you that my brother jim pulled through his operation he was just back up at 8:30pm when i phoned it is going to be a long hall for him i won't be celabrating untill he is given the all clear as i went through this with mum and i can't let my guard down untill i know he is ok as mum came through the op and i lost her 7 month later i can only hope that he makes it anyway i am rambling away here my nervse are getting the better of me i will keep you posted

Hi Liz, so pleased to hear that your brother has had his op and is doing well. As you know, the first few days will be hard for him coming to terms with all that has been done to him. jim gave the doctors a scare last night aparently while under the anistetic they thought he had suffered a heart attack but he didn't the did test and all the bood cam back normal he is still going through tests but i was wondering a couple of things could he have taken a reaction to the anistetic or could he have what i have cardi somehting or other where my heart rate speed up and couses shortness of breath the best way i can discribe it is i have the symtem of a heart attack but i am not am rambling again

Liz, Sure he could have had heart palpatations, I think that is how it is spelled anyway. I did that once as well. I found myself having to do the treadmill, a stress test and a few other tests to prove that it was NOT a heart attack. That on top of everything else was just TOO much for me and my family. My husband had a Heart Attack in 2000. It is a very frigthening thing. Keep us posted on him....Always Vicki Lynn

thank you i am glad i stayed now as i would have to have delt with theses wee problems on my own i have just remembered something else it only sprang to mind as i write this i made contact with my cousin she is my dad sisters girl i had to find her to tell her about mum but with everything else i forgot to tell her about jim i have no way of contacting her no matter she is coming over i hope this weekend i can tell her then if she makes it over

well i went to see my brother last night i couldn't stay long as i had the kids with me i was up seeing my dad who is also ill in hospital not with cancer at least i hope not it would not be fare on jim if i went to see dad and not him he would then think i didn't love him any i am babbling again jim is doing really well the doctors a really please with his progress but still niggling in the back of my mind is mum going to see jim wasn't as bad as i feared the nurses al remember me when mum was in they understood jim was so please to see me we had a laugh he was telling me that if he presses the throat pipe he can talk he was sitting up in bed he is hoping he will get out in 2-3 weeks but i can't settle until he gets the all clear he might face might be out of shape with the swelled bits but his heart is still there and he is smiling my be not with cheesy grin but his heart is smiling well if you understand my babling
