The RDOC website is a West Yorkshire Modernisation Awards 04 finalist in the category: Improving health and and social care with e-technology. :D I am allowed to bring along 3 members of the team or patient-users of the service. If any of you would like to join me at the WYMA 04 event on Friday 26 March 2004 at the Pavilion Suite, Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, Leeds, please email me at v.k.joshi@rdoc.org.uk. I have two tickets for members of this support group  .The morning starts with an exhibition from 9.00am until 1.00pm in the Pavilion Suite. All shortlisted projects are required to host a stand at the exhibition and run an informal 30 minute workshop on their project. Lunch is between 1.00pm - 2.00pm, with the Awards ceremony between 2.00pm - 4.30pm. I appreciate that it could be difficult for some of you as it appears to be a long day. It is probably easier for those of you nearer Leeds but it is your call. Hi Dr Joshi, I would have liked to have gone but being in London probally not appropiate for me.
I would also need more notice to get accomadation. But I hope you have a good day and win awards. But you are a star  anyway on RDOC and much appreciated my many of us on here with all your wise responses.(and jokes)best of luck from Paul |
