Despite there being no convincing evidence, Laetrile is being promoted as a natural cure for cancer through this 'spam' posting. The question is about whether this posting is better deleted or discussed so that others can be warned.

I dont thonk you should delete it anyone with common sense can make their own judgements on the treatment available today i dont believe in cancer cures from alternative medicine my obssessiojn is that certain people should h=be given longer to come to decisions es[pecially if the daignosis means its not that urgent counselling is the wrong way round it should be before not after treatment. of course rhere are certai epopel who just want to get in and get it over with i respect their views to. it also depends how old yopu are i think if i had a few more years withjout treatment i would have been happy but dont debar items just because you dont believe in them

Totally agree with you Eileen. I cannot help but think a deletion of this particular "spam" would amount to a form of censorship.

One either beleives in these so called "natural" cures or not. But ignoring them won't make them go away, and who knows amongst all the dross there just might be a pearl. Personally I had to see some really strong evidence, not just reports of an occasional "cure" - and given the the number of cancer sufferers globally such reports are really quite rare.

I try to keep an open mind, but I sometimes think that there are some very persuasive individuals preying on worried, frightened people purely for profit.

I reiterate what I said before about this thread I cannot seem to find my mesage. Yes its a blatent prey on the Vunerable & Guillable, But you must allow a debate to take place for people to make up their own minds.
