I guess this question could be directed directly to Dr. Joshi and anyone who would like to pitch in with their experiences. Let me put first things first - I have no intentions of going back to my doctor or getting any further tests done. I have lived a full life and never had and will never have any regrets about anything that has happened in my life. Of late - about a week ago, I began getting these terrible earaches which would come on and subside with the help of some strong pain killers. I am not jumping to any conclusions , but this was what was actually happening when my cancer was on the verge of being detected six years ago. I also have been experiencing some more problems and wonder if it is associated to the earaches. I find that passing urine is a slow task and have to wait for ages to complete the task on hand and the same applies for my bowel movements. I have always been very particular about my habits and this has got me thinking and not worried. Would anyone have an idea the cause of this problem as I have not had it for over six years since I was treated for cancer. As I opened this discussion - I have no intention of going back to the hospital unless its for a regular check up but refuse to check in even if I am asked to do so. If they find something that does not tally or look good, I am okay with that and will take all precautionary measure that my doctor may suggest but under no circumstances do I intend to go through even one phase of the pain and endurance I have been through. My life in any case is one where I achieved all my dreams in the short life that I have had (48 as of now and 42 when I was diagnosed with the cancer). In other words, I managed to live a life that could be the envy of most people and would take others several lifetimes to do all that I have done in this time. Trust me I am not bragging in any way but felt one should know the background before passing a judgement about meeting the doctor and treatments. I have already ensured that my mother, wife and sons are well secure should anything happen to me and that gives me an immense amount of a comfort zone. If you feel you have any answers to what possibly may be happening, do write in to my email- ananthshenoy@email.com. I would love to hear your comments. With warm regards to all, Ananth Live on your beliefs and strength- and you will become immortal. | |||
