Hi Mum
So sorry you have to have this extra worry. We're thinking of you and hope that all works out well.
Remember when life didn't involve walking on eggshells every day? If only we'd known just what a privilege that was. Chin up and hang in there.

Hi! Mum,
Sorry to hear about your son, but don't be jumping to conclusions just yet. I guess it is easy for us to say these things BUT I always thing "Lets leave it to the expert and then maybe we can worry".

PHEW! went for his check this morning. He told them about the lump which the specialist could feel. They sent him straight down for scan and said they wanted the report straight back. When he came out he said the person doing the scan told him it it was a lymph nodule but that it looked completely normal! He said if had scanned his own it would have looked the same. Needle biopsy taken just as precaution. When we went back to the specialist he had the report and agreed it all looked normalSmiler He said was probably still up from when my son had a cold a few weeks back. I guess they take a bit longer to settle down now that before he was ill. So next check 3 months time. At least he had a thorough scan of his neck and throat again and all the rest of the area's still look normal.

Can't tell what a relief, what a roller coaster ride we are all on.

Have a great weekend and thanyou so much for your support

I have kept checking my computer every chance I had, wondering how you had gotten on. I am very relieved and happy for you all.
Some good news and at 10 minutes to midnight it's the first I've heard for the day.
