Well there we are guys!! No recurrence!!
I'm sososoooo relieved i nearly cryed!
He said it came back as lymph tissue. & there's alot of lymph tissue back there.
The lesion is due to the fact it gets too dryed out back there and those tissues are mucosel tissues and made to be kept moist. So where it's scarred it's tearing.
Thank GOODNESS!!!

He said i may have to have another examination under general some time. But he says for now i should "go out and have fun" Big Grin

I'd prepared for whatever the outcome & i'm just overwhelmed that its ok!

So i feel like a bit of a fraud for worrying everyone over this when i'm alright.
But thanks to you all for your support and encouragment.
So now i need to roll up my sleaves and get this salon going!

Thanks everyone!
Michelle

Wonderful!!!!....Congratulations.......I too received a call today from my Doctor's nurse that my CT Scan of the neck came back as normal. I was really worried after my first Scan and since I'm still having throat discomfort. I'm so happy for you.
Fondly, Steven

Dear Chelle ,fantastic news!!!!! so you go and relax now and get that salon on the up and up.I did reply to your private message but I am unsure as to whether you got it or not ,maybe I did not send it properly .Paul had his check up last Tuesday and he discussed his feeling sick again and lack of energy also bleeding from other side where adhesions are .We were told that they could not see anything to worry about and given a little more time they could operate to remove adhesions which would be a little unpleasant and would need to put a plastic splint in till operation healed .Feel he should leave this for another year till his stamina picks up a little more .Result ,he is back on the dexamethasone low dosage for a month or 2 so till he picks up again. We are a few days into the tablets now and already he is feeling a lot better and his appetite is back, so things are good and we are delighted the area is clear.
So pleased for you Chelle, I think the RT causes so many other problems in this area with damage to soft tissue it gives cause for alarm.
Love Bellxx

Chelle,

I'm delighted that you have good news. Go get that salon set up, you seem to have loads of energy.

Steven,
I'm delighted that your scan came back negative too

Bell,

The dexamethasone will improve Paul's appetite. I was put on it for a couple of months, as it was the only thing that stopped me feeling sick. I hadn't eaten or drunk anything other than the occasional sip of water for about six weeks and I had lost 3 stone. I finally was able to stop taking the steroid tablets when my throat stopped bleeding, so if Pauls throat is still bleeding, it might be worth mentioning to the consultant.

Thanks everyone!
Bell,
I didn't get your PM but i didn't think you were ignoring me Smiler!
I feel like a huge weight's been lifted!
I hope auls problems ease up soon. You wonder when will it end?!

Jenni,
Seeming to have loads of energy is about right!
Secretly i'm absolutely shattered! Ruinning the Pet shop while my boss is away. Working without a day off. The grooming in the evenings. Running a house. Seeing family and friends! I know if i stop i'll be shattered so i just keep going *lol*. I know it's all a bit much but it will be worth it in the long run! Big Grin

Steven,
Glad everything looks normal for you!

I think an early nights in order!

Night all!

Chelle,

Please don't ruin the pet shop whst your boss is away!

I think that having cancer makes you more determined to make the most of every moment. Having a night in in front of the telly is a rare occurrence now, I either go and listen to live music at lots of different pubs in the area, or I go to the Gym for a swim. I joined a Quilting group that I go to once a month on a Saturday. I'm back at work full time & running a house and sometimes I wonder how I fit it all in, but I don't want to waste a moment.

Hi Michelle
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
What fantastic news! Last night I was trying to calculate the time difference, wondering if you were at the dr's yet etc and anxious that you should receive good news. It couldn't be sweeter.
I'm going to go get my dog's passports in order today and they'll be over for a long overdue make over.
Well done and great news too, Steve.
Also beaut to hear that Paul is on the up and up.
Now, while you're out being young and energetic, Michelle, the rest of us can go have a nanna nap!!!!
Love
Deborah
